Welcome to our website.
We are The Metatrons, a pop band from Hertfordshire, in the UK.
We play very noisy pop songs, sometimes on recordings and sometimes in front of people.
We've been described as "Delectable skewed fuzz-pop". Another nice reviewer said "think Blondie meets Sonic Youth via MBValentine...sharp pop over a scorched earth backing..." All these things please us.
So what are we? Well, there are four of us - three boys and a girl.
The girl does the singing and the keyboards and the three boys play the guitar, bass guitar and drums (one instrument each, just to save us from getting confused).
Here we will tell you about gigs that you can come and see us play, records that we have made that you can buy and other things that may or may not be of interest to you, such as cat-related stories, or how busy the supermarket was today.
Our debut album is available, it's called 'Between Planets'. You can download the album or individual tracks from itunes HERE
We are going to record another album quite soon. We've written most of it but not all of it yet so you'll have to hang on for a bit but it'll be really good when it's done. There is a double A side 7 inch single coming out on the 19th April, which should sastisfy the product-hungry of you for the time being.
